How do I know if the purchase is successful?
E-receipt will be sent to your email once the the transaction is complete (The covernote is generated with JPJ status is approved). If you’re still worried, you can contact us and we will respond as soon as possible.
How do I initiate claim process ? If I involved in anything that allow me to claim.
Please contact us immediately. Unlike any other insurance agent, We won’t leave you alone in this mess, We will help you with the claim process. It is part of our service to serve our customer.
MOTOR VEHICLE FAQ
How do I renew my Motor Insurance and Roadtax @ GoCover.my
Only few simple steps to renew on GoCover.my.
Step 1 – You need to complete the form and submit it to us. You need to provide usa few information such as Your information, your vehicle information and your insurance needs.
Step 2 – We will provide a quotation from your requested Insurance Company and products together with the payment link via (1)whatsapp (2)email.
Step 3 – Choose the product that suits you and if not, please let us know how can we help you. We understand that you might want to amend the coverage. We will repeat ”Step 2” until you satisfied and you can proceed to pay your selected quotation with the link provided.
Step 4 – We will proceed to generate the covernote/policy.
Step 5 – We will proceed with the document delivery as below:
- If you only purchase insurance, The policy/covernote will be sent via (1)whatsapp (2)email.
- If you purchase Insurance with roadtax, We will physically delivered the hardcopy document to you.
I got ''saman'', can I proceed ?
Yes, you can. There’s no problem with the insurance renewal, however, you may have problems renewing your vehicle’s road tax later. From our experience, only blacklisted ”saman” will block you from renewing your roadtax. You are advised to settle the “blacklisted” saman first before purchasing insurance. Or we can help you pay the ”saman” for extra processing fee. Do contact us if you want to request for the service.
My RoadTax expire more than 1 year, can I proceed ?
Yes, you can. But the process is a bit more complicated. However, we can help you with the process for extra fees. Please contact us for more info.
But if you want to do it yourself, Follow the steps below:
- Send your vehicle to PUSPAKOM for special inspection
- Obtain a LAPORAN PEMERIKSAAN KHAS (B2)
- Contact us to send the LAPORAN PEMERIKSAAN KHAS (B2)
- Our staff will contact you to fill in the quote information and assist you in making your purchase.
When can I expect to received my Roadtax and Printed Policy?
Klang Valley Address – You will receive the document latest by the end of the next business day.
West Malaysia – Delivery will take 3 to 5 business days depending on the shipping company. (normally you will receive within 2 days for non-peak season)
East Malaysia – Delivery will take 5 to 10 business days depending on the shipping company. (normally you will receive within a week for non-peak season)
Can I cancel my purchase and get refund?
Definitely. Please contact us immediately and we will process the cancellation on below condition:
- If you request your cancellation before we proceed to submit and generate covernote, we will cancelled your request immediately and inititate a refund process.
- If you request your cancellation after we proceed to submit and generate covernote, we will help you to cancelled it with the insurance company and arrange for a refund.
What should I do if I'm involve in an accident?
1. Don’t panic
2. Please contact us immediately. We will be with you and guide you on the next process.
3. Please check if there is any injuries, and check your condition and your passenger condition.
4. Please gather the relevant information. Check on the other person/ vehicle involve. Take their information, photo and note down how it happen.
4. It’s important that you make a police report within 24 hours.
